At just 4-6, Justin X-Over Tompkins is the second-shortest player in Globetrotter history; the shortest is his 4-5 older brother and current Globetrotter Hot Shot Swanson.
The New York native learned his handles from his older brother who is renowned for his streetball skills. Like his brother, who he grew up admiring, Tompkins played street ball for other exhibition basketball teams prior to joining the Globetrotters.
About becoming a member of the world-famous roster he says, “It has been a lifelong dream of mine to play professional basketball. To be a Harlem Globetrotter means I get to share my love for basketball to aspiring athletes and spread joy to kids.”
“I’m looking forward to showing kids that anything is possible and obstacles are just challenges that are meant to be overcome,” he adds.
In his spare time, he enjoys boxing. If he weren’t playing for the Harlem Globetrotters, Tompkins would enjoy being a personal trainer for kids.
