Gwarren “Tree” Douglas is a Cleveland native who brings his favorite Eastbay dunk and high energy to the game. Even though football was the first sport Tree excelled in, he realized basketball is where his passion lies. In college, he attended Clark Atlanta where he studied Business Management and played on the basketball team. While on the team, he made his season high by scoring 22 points in a game against Tuskegee University. His dedication and perseverance led him to playing professionally as a Globetrotter.
As a 2024 Rookie, becoming a Globetrotter means the world to him. In his own words, “Being a Harlem Globetrotter is a dream come true. It gives me a chance to have fun doing something I love and an opportunity to inspire the younger generation who wants to follow in my footsteps.” One of his favorite memories as a rookie was playing in LA where he got to play in front of old friends and meet some of his favorite childhood idols.
Off the court, he’s an entrepreneur and currently working on his personal apparel brand. He enjoys spending time training and working out with some of the up and coming players from his high school and giving back to his community.
