Splash Blount

Mark “Splash” Blount is known to leave a lasting impression– whether he's sinking 4-point shots or teaching tricks to kids at Philadelphia's Caring People Alliance, Splash loves nothing more than making people smile. In fact, that's what inspired the Philly-based baller to become a Globetrotter: "I wanted to be a part of an organization that brings joy to families around the world while playing the sport I love."

Being a Globetrotter is more than just basketball for him, it’s a way to inspire generations and those who come from similar backgrounds from inner-cities. In his own words,, “Growing up I didn’t have anyone to help mold my game or just teach me about life outside of my parents. I want to be a role model to the ones coming up in any way shape or form.”

As a Philly Native, Splash loves to keep up with his Philly teams like the Philadelphia 76ers or in his free time indulge in his favorite video game: Call of Duty.
