Hi-Rise Mitchell

Brandon “High Rise” Mitchell is celebrating his 7th year as a Harlem Globetrotter. At first glance, one may think that he’s burly and unapproachable, but he’s one of the Globetrotters kindest players and as he likes to say, “the funniest as well!”

Mental Health is key to his everyday way of life. High Rise starts his day with a big breakfast and quickly moves onto yoga and meditation every morning before starting his day. What is important to him is always keeping a positive mindset especially when he faces life challenges. 

When not globetrotting around the world, High Rise dedicates time to kids in his hometown hosting free basketball clinics to all children in his community. 

He counts his grandfather, father and his high school basketball coach as his heroes and continues to admire Kobe Bryant and Lebron James for their impact on the sport on and off the court.
