SLAM DUNK SHOWDOWN: INSIDE THE 2024 HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS' TRYOUTS

The Harlem Globetrotters' highly anticipated tryouts took place on October 18th at LakePoint Sports, a sports complex located just north of Atlanta, Georgia. This event drew basketball talents from all corners of the country, each personally chosen by the Globetrotters' dedicated recruiters. The day was filled with drills and opportunities for these hopeful players to display their basketball skills and talents. After all, the goal is to join the legendary Harlem Globetrotters, and you could tell this bunch brought the heat to tryouts!

In between all of the skill showcasing, some of our current Globetrotters stopped in to offer their invaluable advice, encouragement, and inspiration to the aspiring players, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and mentorship. 

The highlight of the day was the appearance of a true legend, Coach Sweet Lou Dunbar, who not only offered his insights but also came to watch the tryouts. His iconic presence added an extra layer of excitement and historical significance to an already exciting day. We’re looking forward to announcing the 2024 Rookies soon!
