Two-Year Old Trick Shot Master Earns Trotter Tribute

Trick shots are supposed to be our specialty.  We even have a Trick Shots mobile game!  While we still consider ourselves masters of the trick shot, we think we've found the real master.  And while mastering the trick shot took us 87 years, it took Titus less than two.  Oh yeah, and the outrageous shots Titus makes in this video were all taken before he turned two.  Titus is the most recent recipient of the Harlem Globetrotters' "Trotter Tribute", and we'd like to invite him to teach us a trick shot or two! He is a trick-shot-shooting champion and his video is almost too amazing to believe...

The “Trotter Tribute” honors athletes from all sports throughout the world whose play calls to mind the dazzling showmanship of “the world’s most famous team.”

The honor is designed to recognize amazing and entertaining moments during the course of competition.  Members of the media often refer to unbelievable plays as “Globetrotter-esque,” signifying fantastic athletic feats, as well as the unique trademark the team has emblazoned in incorporating entertainment into sports.

For the first time ever, Globetrotter fans will decide the rules for the game during their 2013 “You Write the Rules” World Tour. This could be anything from playing with two basketballs at once, to getting double the points for each basket made.  Fans can choose their favorite rule at

The North American leg of the Globetrotters’ tour will tip-off on December 26, 2012, and will run through April 2013.  The team will play over 270 games in nearly 240 cities in 45 states and nine Canadian provinces.

Sponsored by Howard Johnson Hotels, Greyhound Lines, Spalding, and Russell Athletic, the Original Harlem Globetrotters will celebrate their 87th consecutive year in 2013, continuing a world famous tradition of ball handling wizardry, basketball artistry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment that continues to thrill fans of all ages. Throughout their history, the Globetrotters have showcased their iconic talents in 120 countries and territories on six continents, often breaking down cultural and societal barriers while providing fans with their first-ever basketball experience. Proud inductees of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, the Globetrotters have entertained hundreds of millions of fans—among them popes, kings, queens, and presidents—over more than eight thrilling decades.
