Trotters Kick-Off Super Bowl Weekend on FS1


(PHOENIX, Jan. 14, 2014) – In conjunction with FOX Sports’ broadcast coverage of Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday, Feb. 2, FOX Sports 1 has announced that their week-long prelude to the big game will include a special appearance by the world famous Harlem Globetrotters.

Kicking off Super Bowl weekend, the Globetrotters will battle their long-time rivals, the Washington Generals, in a game telecast on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 11:30 a.m. EST on FOX Sports 1 (check your local listings).


FOX Sports play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson calls the high-flying action, as Showman Special K Daley, scoring machine Ant Atkinson, the hilarious Dizzy Grant, female star T-Time Brawner and an exciting new generation of Globetrotters put on a captivating assortment of trick shots, mesmerizing ball handling, 4-point launches and rim-rattling dunks – with a side-splitting array of comedy guaranteed to entertain the whole family.
