Trotters Dazzling Fans Internationally

(PHOENIX, July 30, 2013) – The iconic Harlem Globetrotters continue to cement their status as the world’s premier family entertainment company.  The team recently amazed over 11,000 fans during a sold out show at Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, on July 27.  The highly successful South American tour – which began on July 5, featuring nearly two dozen games – wraps up this week with four shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Globetrotters’ international performances will also see a return to China this week for a multi-city tour – the team’s fifth tour of China since the winter of 2009.  In the last 10 months alone, the Globetrotters have performed in 27 countries worldwide.

The North American leg of the team’s 2013 “You Write the Rules” World Tour, which ran from the end of this past December through April, saw the team set 84 box office records, marking well over 300 box office records for the Globetrotters over their last five North American tours.
