BROOKLYN, NY (June 19, 2012) – Having played more than 24,000 games in 120 countries and territories over the past 86 years, the Harlem Globetrotters have seen and accomplished almost everything in their illustrious history. Except they have never played in Brooklyn. That’s about to change as the Globetrotters will play in the borough for the first time ever when they bring their unique brand of family entertainment to Barclays Center on Sunday, October 7, 2012, at 5:00 p.m.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on Wednesday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. and will be available through Ticketmaster by visiting or, or by calling 800-745-3000.

As with all events at Barclays Center, arena staff will work closely with the MTA to coordinate mass transit to and from the arena based on the event profile and with NYPD and other City agencies to ensure safety and security procedures are strictly followed and enforced.
