“Hakim treated those pins like they were the Washington Generals,” said Globetrotters’ Showman Big Easy Lofton. “As an amateur bowler, Hakim proves there is greatness in all of us.  He is a deserving recipient of our ‘Trotter Tribute’ and is the first bowler to win the award.”

Emmanuel will have the opportunity to meet the Globetrotters and attend one of their games at TD Garden when the Globetrotters’ 2015 “Washington Generals’ Revenge” World Tour travels into Boston on Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 29 at 1 p.m.

The “Trotter Tribute” honors athletes from all sports throughout the world whose play calls to mind the dazzling showmanship of “the world’s most famous team.”  The honor is designed to recognize amazing and entertaining moments during the course of competition.  Members of the media often refer to unbelievable plays as “Globetrotter-esque,” signifying fantastic athletic feats, as well as the unique trademark the team has emblazoned in incorporating entertainment into sports.
