5 Things You Didn't Know About Training Camp with the Harlem Globetrotters

Training camp with the Harlem Globetrotters is not your typical training camp.

Every September, all the players in the Harlem Globetrotters organization come together to start practicing for the upcoming tour. Like most team training camps, there are drills, plays and fundamentals that all the players need to practice, but the Globetrotters aren't your typical team. Training camp starts this week and here are five things you didn't know about training camp with the Harlem Globetrotters.

1. Water/Confetti bucket throwing practice is mandatory.

Or else we won't have spot on  accuracy during games.

2. All players must attend history class.

Taught by coaches and former Globetrotter players about the history and tradition of the team.

3. There's practice gear, game gear and then there are props...

You always need a good set of props. Training camp is where we test them all out.

4. Dance battles have been known to break out.

Globie, Big G and the players can all dance. See for yourself...

5. You can get insider access.

Got a question? Just ask! We'll be answering all your training camp questions throughout the week.
