About Bulldog

Growing up like many other children with older siblings, Bulldog Mack looked up to his older brother, Chris. He followed him around everywhere, including the gym for basketball practice where he discovered a love for the sport.

Like his brother, who also played for the Harlem Globetrotters,  he followed in his footsteps and is part of the Harlem Globetrotters incoming 2017 Rookie Class.

Mack’s brother (Chris Richardson) passed away tragically his junior year of high school. “He was my driving force so losing him in such an important year was extremely difficult,” he says.

As an incoming rookie, he says being a member of the Globetrotters “means the world to me knowing the history of the team and having my brother be a former player. It makes it even more of an honor to wear this uniform.”

As a teen he attended Madison Academy in Huntsville, Ala., where he averaged 14 points and four rebounds per game his senior year. He helped lead the Mustangs to the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 3A State Championship and was named Northwest Regional MVP and second-team all-state.

His freshman year at Freed-Harderman University, he averaged 10.2 points per game, 4.5 rebounds. He played in 22 games, averaged 20 minutes per game and shot 52.7 percent from the field and also led the team in dunks.

Mack earned a degree in criminal justice from Freed-Hardernman Univeristy.

People would be surprised to know that he used to break dance growing up and is a great dancer. He enjoys food and watching shows like “Diners, Dive-ins and Dives” on the Food Network. If he had his own signature dish, it would be honey glazed pork chops.
