Jet Rivers

Whether flying in for electrifying dunks or being a leader on and off the court, Jet Rivers truly lives up to his name. 

Jet’s intense love for the game started early, as he was surrounded by a family that includes uncles who train famous athletes. He has seen the intense dedication and hard work necessary to be a topflight athlete, and Jet takes this sort of groundwork seriously so that he can soar during games. He was a star at Wagner College, where he is still the career leader in most victories during his 4-year reign. Jet started his Globetrotter career on the other side as a Washington General. The big team soon noticed the star power Jet possessed, and he was quickly transferred to the Trotters.

Besides being a team leader, Jet is also a vocal leader off the court, where his dedication to speaking out on social issues demonstrates his thoughtfulness. He constantly preaches the importance of education to kids, showing them that education is the starting point to making lasting change in this country, and as a Globetrotter, this world. Jet’s acknowledgment that “I was one of those kids” when speaking to youngsters who are struggling resonates with them.

During his spare time, Jet enjoys cooking and watching some of his favorite movies; “He Got Game”, “Life” or “Harlem Nights”.
