Harlem Globetrotter star Nate “Big Easy” Lofton, joined the National Police Athletic League (National PAL) to aid in Hurricane Ida relief efforts down in Louisiana from September 23rd through September 26th. As a native son of New Orleans and a Hurricane Katrina survivor, this effort was very personal to Big Easy. “This experience was special. I lost everything in Katrina so I understand their needs, wants and even what they’re afraid of. So it was great to go down with PAL and give away much needed supplies and see people smile. Even though it’s a tough time for everyone right now, the smiles we put on those faces is something that they needed,” says Big Easy.

The National Association of Police Athletic/Activities Leagues, Inc. (National PAL), serves as the World's Foremost Leader Engaging Kids, Cops and Communities. Known as “Ambassadors of Goodwill”, The Harlem Globetrotters are dedicated to Spreading Joy, Spreading Love and Spreading Game which ties well into the mission of National PAL.
