Spider's Story
Spider was a semifinalist in the 2011 College Slam Dunk Championship, where he competed against his current Globetrotter teammate, Jet Williams.
Spider, who also participated in football, baseball, and track growing up, was an all-state basketball selection in high school and captured a state title his last year at Pioneer Christian Academy in Nashville, Tenn. From there, he signed with the University of Cincinnati, where he was a three-year letter winner and helped the team to the third round of the 2011 NCAA Tournament, where the Bearcats lost to eventual national champ Connecticut.
Basketball is not the only sport that Spider excels at; he is an avidbowler and might someday try his luck as a pro bowler, but he loves being an ambassador for basketball with the Globetrotters and showing people how much fun the game can be.
