Amazing Race Stars Big Easy Lofton & Flight Time Lang to Reunite With Poker Players Maria Ho & Tiffany Michelle
(PHOENIX, Jan. 25, 2010) – Harlem Globetrotters stars
Big Easy Lofton and
Flight Time Lang, top-four finishers on the recently-completed 15th edition of the CBS-TV reality hit
“The Amazing Race,
” will reunite with fellow cast members, the female poker pair of
Maria and Tiffany, on
Wednesday, Feb. 10, during the Globetrotters’ performance in
Las Vegas, Nev.
In the city deemed the Poker Capital of the World, Maria and Tiffany, who were both the top-ranking female players of the World Series of Poker championship in 2007 and 2008, will suit up with the Washington Generals to try and help the Globetrotters’ long-time adversaries gain their first victory since 1971.
“We look forward to competing against the ladies again,” said Big Easy. “They were strong competitors on the show, so it will be fun to see what they can bring on the court.”
“We fully expect a challenge; these ladies are strong, but rest assured, we are the magicians of basketball,” added Flight Time.
The “reunion” tips off at
7:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, Feb. 10, at the
Orleans Arena in
Las Vegas.
