(PHOENIX, Sept. 20, 2010) – The world famous Harlem Globetrotters have hired David Ball as the team’s new Internet marketing director. Ball will integrate the live Harlem Globetrotters show and the Internet and foster the team’s online community.
His vision is to also enhance the Globetrotters’ digital and viral landscape, expanding the Brand across mobile and social networking platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Ball brings over 10 years of Internet marketing experience to the Globetrotters. He spent eight years with NetPro Computing, where he developed an international Internet marketing strategy that contributed over two million dollars to the sales pipeline in less than one year. Ball has also done Internet marketing for Keane Creative, Quest Software and Irving Burton Associates. He will be based at the Globetrotters’ corporate offices in Phoenix.
