THE STARS COME OUT IN L.A.
TO SEE THE GLOBETROTTERS SHINE
A bevy of Hollywood superstars came out to see the Harlem Globetrotters for their annual STAPLES Center stop in L.A. on Feb. 19, and they laughed and smiled along with the thousands in the crowd that witnessed the hilarity and wizardry of the world’s greatest basketball show.
The blockbuster list included Mayim Bialik (“The Big Bang Theory”), Julie Bowen and Rico Rodriguez (“Modern Family”), actor Adam Scott, Disney Channel stars Peyton List and Skai Jackson, iconic children’s show producer Marty Krofft, members of the LA Rams, and even Paul Stanley, lead singer of the legendary band KISS.
Showman Big Easy Lofton wasted no time in bringing Bowen out to midcourt for an impromptu dance, much to her delight. Though she probably didn’t expect Big Easy to cut a rug with her husband immediately afterwards.
“Julie Bowen’s husband is a guy we like to refer to as an ‘overachiever,’ “ Big Easy said with a chuckle. “We have a lot of fun in L.A., because we get all these celebrities smiling, laughing and feeling like kids again. We love it!”
The fun didn’t stop after the game, as the celebrities were able to meet some of the Globetrotters stars backstage, pose for photos, share some more laughs and learn some of the Globetrotters’ signature moves.
